Kellan's 1st Christmas!

Kellan loved our Christmas tree, twinkling lights, wrapping paper, and extra attention that the holidays brought this year--the gifts were just an added bonus. We are so thankful for all of the clothes and toys given by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins...although tonight I couldn't keep him out of his diaper pail. He was surrounded by his new toys but would rather play with his smelly diapers. Go figure.

Here are a few shots from last week:

Our new favorite toy.

Checking out the game while walking.

Boom!

So many things to mess with, so many noises to make--no wonder it's our favorite!

Thankfulness...

Sometimes life gets busy and we forget to stop and appreciate everything and everyone in our lives. After going home to see our families over Thanksgiving, we were reminded that we all have so much to be thankful for. I am especially thankful for my two families--the Lewis/Roark side and the Rosenfels side--for their unconditional love. Some of the most generous and caring people I know. It feels so good to raise Kellan surrounded by these special people.
