My oh my...where has the time gone?

My sweet Kellan, you are THREE today!! After waiting 10 days past your due date and 30 hours at the hospital, we were thrilled to finally meet you at 7:11pm on March 27, 2009. You have been such a special addition to our lives and I can't imagine our world without you.







You make us laugh everyday. Your one liners are hilarious. I know I'm your mother, but I think you're incredibly smart. You love to talk and ask questions. Nonstop. You surprise me with your curiosity and knowledge of the world. You have such a tender heart and are full of love. I love your hugs and kisses. Your smile can brighten anyone's day. You have brought such joy into our family and have been a blessing from the beginning.

Kellan's 3rd Birthday Party

Kellan chose to have a Cars/Lightning McQueen theme this year for his birthday party. At the beginning, it was a little cool but the day warmed up and we had great weather for everyone to eat and play outside. Kellan was thrilled when people started showing up and he realized what was going on. Here are a few pictures of the party:

Present time! Kellan got lots of loot and was very excited about each gift.

Zoo

Last weekend we had some beautiful weather so we went to the zoo. Many of the animals were out to enjoy the sunshine too. I only got a few pics...

Home Depot

Today we took Kellan to the kid's workshop at Home Depot. Today's project was perfect since his new obsession is cars and he got to build his own car. After building the race car, the kids got to race them down a track. He hasn't quit playing with his car all day--he even slept with it at nap time!
