Bird Man
Kellan spent a lot of time at this window during our weekend in Iowa. It was the perfect height for him to sit and watch the birds. Now he just needs a cup of coffee and the morning paper to go along with it!

Sick Baby
After I picked Kellan up on Friday afternoon, I noticed he was wheezing with every breath so I called the doctor's office. They seemed concerned and asked me to bring him in right away. We met with the doctor on call and he thought Kellan might have gotten RSV (respiratory syncytial virus)-- an infection of the lungs. They tested his oxygen levels and he was doing alright so they decided to give him a nebulizer treatment at the office before we went home. We scheduled an appointment to go in Saturday morning too, to see our primary care doctor. A few hours later, a nebulizer was delivered to our door.
After doing several nebulizer treatments at home, we took Kellan back on Saturday morning and the wheezing had gone down a lot. Our doctor did not think he had RSV (good news!) and that it was probably just some virus that he picked up somewhere.
Anyway....we have been continuing the nebulizer treatments to help treat the wheezing and coughing. He hated them at first but is doing better each time. I'm home with him today but he seems to be fine so I think he'll be back to daycare tomorrow.
Here is a picture of Kellan while getting a treatment:
And then he fell asleep in the middle of it! (which makes it much easier for us)
