ELMO!

We've got a new obsession on our hands. He's red, furry, and has an incredibly annoying voice. Kellan enjoys watching Sesame Street, especially the parts with Elmo. We often have to fast forward to the Elmo scenes. Here he is, relaxing and enjoying his favorite character.

Big Helper

If we're going to be buying this kid food and diapers, I suppose he needs to chip in around the house. What a mean mom...I make him do the job I hate the most--mopping!

Child Proofing

Kellan absolutely loves emptying all of our drawers in the kitchen. He likes to pull out all of the plastic bags, the tupperware, the dishtowels, and the pots and pans. We were okay with the mess until he got tall enough to get in the drawer with all of our pencils, pens, etc. Once he started running around with those, we decided it was time to child proof the kitchen a little better.

Needless to say, he was pretty ticked off the first few times he tried to open up the drawers after Jaffa was done...

Taste of Colorado

We had beautiful weather yesterday, so we decided to head downtown Denver for the Taste of Colorado festival. There was a mix of Kellan's favorite things: food, music, people (lots and lots of people)...

We walked around for several hours. There are four main stages set up with different types of music so we stopped and listened to several bands.
