On Christmas morning, Kellan went straight downstairs to check out the cookies and carrots that were left for Santa and his reindeer...

Kellan's First Movie

Trains!

Kellan has really been into his trains lately. Jaffa got it all set up for him and he's pretty good about being gentle when he plays so the tracks don't fall down.

The Butterfly Pavilion

Our family got a membership to the Butterfly Pavilion last month. It's very close to our house and Kellan loves to go. Here are a few pictures from the first time we went. He continues to ask if we can go back several times a week. He had such a great time!

Camping

This summer we had our first camping trip in the mountains with Sol and Erin. I just found these pics and thought they were too cute not to share. Kellan had a wonderful time playing in the dirt, throwing rocks in the water, eating smores, putting sticks in the fire, etc. We had a very dirty boy when we got home. I can't wait to go again next summer. What great memories...

A new hobby.

Baking has become a fun activity for Kellan and I to do together. He loves to measure things, dump it in, and stir. He also enjoys tasting along the way.

Here we are baking an apple crisp. Again, no pants. Whoops.

Happy Birthday Nana!

While my parents were out a couple weekends ago, we had the opportunity to celebrate my mom's birthday (which is actually tomorrow). Kellan was sure to help her blow out the candles and unwrap her gifts. It's good to have a helper.

Oh, and we're potty training so that explains why Kellan is missing his pants in many of these photos!

Monkey Man

Kellan dressed as a monkey for Halloween. We got to trick or treat first with the cousins, then with Chris and Becca. Kellan loved it and was sure to say "trick or treat" at each house. He was very excited about the goodies going into his bag too!
