Thankfulness...

Sometimes life gets busy and we forget to stop and appreciate everything and everyone in our lives. After going home to see our families over Thanksgiving, we were reminded that we all have so much to be thankful for. I am especially thankful for my two families--the Lewis/Roark side and the Rosenfels side--for their unconditional love. Some of the most generous and caring people I know. It feels so good to raise Kellan surrounded by these special people.

Best Friends!

Okay, so I admit I've already failed at my goal to post once a week. Dang. We've been without power for our computer since our charger broke a couple of weeks ago. We finally got our new one in the mail so don't fear--we're back at it with the blogging!

Karen and I have been best friends for about 20 years...we were so excited to have her in Colorado for a visit last week. And it was extra special that her wonderful husband got to join us also! They spent the week spoiling Kellan with lots of love and attention. He loved every minute! Karen kept Kellan were very busy during their week together. She was able to teach him several things while she was here...


First (and most importantly, in her culinary mind) she taught him how to whisk:

I feel SO thankful to have an absolutely amazing friend like Karen. She and Adam love Kellan like he's their own and that means a lot to us. We love you guys!
