Raggedy Andy

My mom made a Raggedy Andy doll to give to Kellan for his first birthday. He loves his new doll! We have to keep it on the shelf in his room so the dogs can't get it but he points at it when he wants us to get it down. He gives the doll hugs and kisses...very cute. Here he is sleeping with it:

Girls Weekend!

I had such an amazing birthday this year. I got to meet mom, Karen, and Carol in Chicago for a few days of relaxing, exploring, eating, and laughs. We had a great time in the city. Here are a few photos from our trip:

Family Pictures

We got some family pictures taken for Kellan's first birthday. We got a few good ones. I need help deciding which ones to order for the wall in our living room.

I turned 1!!!

Hello everyone, Kellan here. Since my mom and dad are so lazy about blogging, I figured I would sign on here and let everyone know what's been up lately. First and most importantly, I turned one! I started out my day bright and early on a ride to the airport to pick up my grandparents. They took me out for breakfast and I gobbled every bite of my plate and some bits of others' plates too. I got to say hello to the pretty little Easter Bunny at the restaurant.




After a hearty breakfast I took a great nap. After waking up I helped everyone do some baking. I learned how to lick the whisks. I enjoyed it.






After awhile, I noticed all the presents on the table and figured out they were for me. I was very excited about that.






I got some really great things. One of my favorites--a basketball hoop. I knew just what to do with the ball.




Finally...what we'd all been waiting for. The CAKE!

I can't believe everyone held out on me this long. I went a year without this wonderful stuff. I have posted a few pictures below to show just how much I really love it. At first I wasn't sure what the flaming thing was on my tray but once I tasted a small bit, I was in love. I giggled every time I took a bite.

spring fever!

Today the temperature was almost 60 degrees and the sun was shining so Kellan and I took a trip to the park. Here are a few pictures of him enjoying himself. We had to leave after he decided that eating rocks sounded like a good idea. But we had fun while we were there! I love these beautiful days. A sure sign that spring is coming soon!

11 Months!

My little boy is almost a year old. It's hard to believe how quick it's gone. I'm glad I only have one more set of these pictures to take. He's not too thrilled about sitting for 3 seconds--long enough for a camera flash.

As you can see from the last couple of pictures, he loves to destroy things. Ripping paper is an especially good time.
